Impartiality, Independence and Confidentiality

Impartiality is the very reason an inspection and certification body exists. As TÜV AUSTRIA SILA KALİTE, we embrace the structural independence required of a Type A inspection body under ISO/IEC 17020: we are not a party to the design, manufacture, supply, installation, operation or maintenance of the products, materials, equipment or processes we inspect. This positioning ensures that our decisions remain free from any conflict of interest.

To safeguard our impartiality, we systematically identify, evaluate and manage potential conflicts of interest. Our personnel are kept clear of any financial or personal relationships that could influence the inspection or certification decisions they make; our remuneration and performance structures are not designed in a way that would encourage a particular inspection outcome. Our decisions rest solely on objective evidence and applicable standards.

Confidentiality is an inseparable part of impartiality. We protect our customers' technical information, inspection findings and commercial data except where legally required, and we ensure such information is managed so as not to provide any party with a competitive advantage.
