Nuclear facilities are projects subject to the highest quality and traceability requirements from a safety standpoint, bringing together pressurized systems, heavy steel construction and critical welded joints. In this sector, every inspection activity must be conducted with qualified personnel, approved procedures, calibrated equipment and a complete documentation chain. Acceptance criteria are stricter than in conventional sectors and audit pressure is continuous.

In Türkiye, the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant is the country's first large-scale project in this field and a reference point at which nuclear quality standards are transferred to local industry.
